LOCAL INFO

Wells is famous for its working harbour and iconic beach huts, but the area has much more to offer. There are award-winning restaurants and gastro pubs serving lovely food using fresh local produce and Norfolk real ales. Lots to entertain the kids and country estates like Holkham and Sandringham nearby. It's a fantastic British holiday destination.

If you have been to Wells before you will know you can relax, bustle about or in between those two. If you have not, here are a few ideas to contemplate. You can just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery; watch the sunset; go crabbing from the habour wall; enjoy fresh fish and chips; a gentle coastal drive. If you are feeling a bit more energetic there are wonderful walks along the coast, through the pine forest, you could go for a cycle ride along one of the national cycle routes or along the coast; fly your kite on one one of the UK's largest and most beautiful beaches. There are also boat trips from Morston and Blakney to see the seals.
